Although it is a bit hard to spread on the bottom of the tart, so I would just pipe it in using a small round tip. Had the ladyfingers on hand (kismet in my opinion) and while lovely, I will be adding the almond paste next time for a little more texture and flavor. Love this crust every time I make it - it is no fail for sure.
